About Chamber
Chamber of Town Planners, was established in 1974, under “The Union of the Chambers of Cyprus Turkish Engineers and Architects” which was established in 3/12/1962 and re-organized in 5/4/1970. It is officially responsible from the planning discipline within the country and gathers city planners, who have the right to practice their professions, within their framework.
Their activities are based on the rules of the Chamber of Town Planners ordinance and also the law of the Union of the Chambers of Cyprus Turkish Engineers and Architects, which is 21/2005.

Objectives of the Chamber
The works prolong in order to provide the requirements of sustainable development of human settlements by improving science, art and techniques, to create a sufficient role for the planning discipline within social, economic and politic structures of the country for the benefit of common good within the changing circumstances of our country and the World.
1. Increasing the knowledge of the people,
2. Controlling and monitoring the implementation process of town planning profession,
3. Giving consideration for the views of planners about planning issues and policies,
4. Taking actions under the policies, aims, and missions of the chamber and the planning law,
5. Improving the relationship and creating harmony between the members of the chamber,
6. Protecting the rights and honors of the members,
7. Cooperating with other chambers and organizations for the support of common good and communal rights,
