About Chamber
The Chamber of Mechanical Engineers was first founded in 1969 with the General Assembly decision under the name of The Chamber of Electrical - Mechanical Engineers. The regulations of the Chamber of Mechanical Engineers were prepared and agreed to in the General Assembly held on 20th February, 1971 and the Chamber declared its independence.

Objectives of the Chamber
The main objective of the Chamber is to apply, improve and coordinate the technique and the science of the Mechanical Engineering for the benefit of the public.
In order to accomplish this objective, it aims:
1. To enhance the knowledge (wisdom) of the members; to prepare and improve the vocational laws, norms, technical specifications, contracts, tariffs and technical documents.
2. To preserve the pride and honour of its members.
3. To regulate and improve the relations with government offices, local and foreign istitutions, education institutionss and exhibitions.
4. To arrance vocational articles, reports, brochures, magazines and books revealing the acts and achievements of the Chamber and its members.
5. To act in accordance with the laws approved by the chamber.
